Deputy Commissioner Jhelum presided over a meeting of District Task Force on Agriculture

Deputy Commissioner Jhelum presided over a meeting of District Task Force on Agriculture and Agriculture Advisory Committee Jhelum which was attended by farmers, Reps of Farmer’s Associations and officers of different departments. Progress of Agriculture Department was reviewed and issues of farmers were thoroughly discussed. All Departments were asked to extend maximum facilitation to the farmers and their issues relating to land record, rates of fertilizers and pesticides etc must be addressed on priority basis. It was also decided that all schemes and subsidies of the Agriculture Department must be given wide publicity for the general information and advantage of the landed community. Deputy Director Agriculture Extension was asked to hold interactive sessions with farmers at one hour program at local FM Radio.
