Commissioner Chairs Meeting To Discuss Wheat Procurement Target, Other Matters

The Commissioner Hyderabad and Chairman Regional complaint Redressal Committee presided over a meeting regarding accomplishment of target of wheat procurement in year 2024 and resolve other matters

The Commissioner of Hyderabad and Chairman of the Regional Complaint Redressal Committee presided over a meeting to discuss the accomplishment of the wheat procurement target for the year 2024 and to address other pertinent matters.

Also in attendance were committee members/secretaries, the Deputy Director of Food, representatives from the Abadgar Board, and the Chamber of Agriculture.

According to the details provided, the wheat procurement targets have been set as follows:

– Hyderabad District: 3,000 metric tons
– Matiari: 13,000 metric tons
– Tando Allahyar: 7,000 metric tons
– Tando Muhammad Khan: 3,000 metric tons
– Badin: 6,000 metric tons
– Thatta: 4,000 metric tons
– Dadu: 65,000 metric tons
– Jamshoro: 26,000 metric tons

Similarly, the wheat procurement target for the Hyderabad Region has been set at 127,000 metric tons.

It is important to note that at the district level, the Deputy Commissioner will serve as the Chairman of the District Complaint Redressal Committee. Other members of the committee will include the District Food Controller, a representative from the Abadgar Board/Chamber of Agriculture, and a representative from the Mukhtiar kar.
