All You Need to Know about HEC/FMDC Test:

Online registration is extended to 10th September 2017 and tentative Entry Test dates are 30th September & 1st October 2017.
There were 46 institutes affiliated with HEC Test-1 (conducted on 12 & 13 August). Similarly, these 46 institutes will also accept HEC Test-2 (provided their admissions are still open).

The best test score will be considered.

Five Islamabad based Medical Colleges (Federal Medical & Dental College, HBS Medical & Dental College, Islamabad Medical & Dental College, Rawal Institute of Health Sciences, Yusra Medical & Dental College) affiliated with Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University will also accept HEC Test-2 for the admissions.

And recently, Shifa College of Medicine Islamabad included itself in the affiliated institutes as well.

Only FMDC is government sector medical college and the rest are private medical colleges.

Those students who have taken the test on August 12 & 13 may reappear in the test being conducted on September 30 & October 1 by registering online.
1. Students will have to create a NEW ACCOUNT by registering through this link. http://etc.hec.gov.pk with CNIC/B-Form, contact number, and email address of the applicant.
2. Profile will be created to enter information under personal, contact and educational Tabs using “My Profile” on left side of window
3. Click on “ETC Entry Test” available at the end of links on left side of window on Eportal. Then click on “Apply for Entry Test” under ETC Entry Test link
4. Select Test Name, Test Type, and Preferred Test Center and then click on “Apply for Test”.
HEC will send you the roll number slip through email before test date. There is no fee for this test.

Syllabus: Last year FMDC conducted their entry test through NTS and they issued their separate syllabus. But this year HEC/FMDC has not specified their entry test syllabus yet. According to HEC, Test will be conducted from relevant syllabus of SSC and HSSC, so there is no special book for the preparation of entry test.
