Non Custom Paid Articles Worth Rs 13.6 Mln Seized

On Tuesday, police thwarted attempts to smuggle non-custom-paid goods valued at Rs 13.6 million in two separate incidents.

According to police sources, the Sakhi Sarwar Police, led by ASI Gul Shad Ahmed, intercepted a suspicious van and seized various items worth Rs 4.6 million. In a similar operation, the Check Post Sakhi Sarwar police, led by ASI Sarwar Muhammad Mohsin, seized cloth valued at Rs 9 million. The confiscated goods were handed over to the Customs Department.

Police officials emphasized that smugglers would face strict consequences.
