The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast predominantly hot and dry weather for most parts of the country over the next 24 hours. Very hot conditions along with windstorms and dust-raising winds are expected in central and southern regions.
However, partly cloudy weather with rain-windstorms or thunderstorms is anticipated at isolated locations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North Central Balochistan, Upper Punjab, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan, and Kashmir during the evening and night. Hailstorms are also possible at isolated spots in lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Potohar region, and Islamabad during this period.

A westerly wave is currently affecting the upper and western parts of the country and is expected to persist for the next 30 to 36 hours.
### Weather Over the Last 24 Hours
Hot and dry weather prevailed in most parts of the country, with very hot conditions in the southern and central regions. Rain-thunderstorms occurred at isolated locations in northwestern Balochistan, with Nokkundi recording 2mm of rainfall.
