Govt Committed To Support Business Community:Finance Minister
Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Muhammad Aurangzeb on Wednesday assured that the Government is committed to provide support to the business community
On Wednesday, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Muhammad Aurangzeb, reassured the Government’s commitment to supporting the business community.
He chaired a meeting on energy issues related to the industry, aiming to address challenges faced by the industrial sector regarding energy.
Key participants included Minister for Power Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari, Minister for Petroleum Dr. Musadik Masood Malik, Minister for Commerce Mr. Jam Kamal Khan, Minister for Industries and Production Mr. Rana Tanveer Hussain, National Coordinator SIFC Major General Tabassum Habib, Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Mr. Jahanzeb Khan, Chairman APTMA Mr. Asif Inam, along with other prominent industrialists and relevant federal secretaries.
The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss and devise solutions for the power sector issues affecting the business community. Mr. Shahzad Saleem, Chairman of Nishat Chunian Group, presented a comprehensive overview of the challenges and proposed measures, with a specific focus on energy pricing.
The Finance Minister appointed Mr. Ali Pervaiz Malik MNA as the focal person for coordinating with ministries to expedite the resolution of these issues.
