City Observes Hot Weather
Hot and humid weather with partly cloudy conditions was observed in the city on Wednesday while MET office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours
On Wednesday, the city experienced hot and humid weather conditions with partly cloudy skies, as reported by the MET office. Similar weather patterns are expected to persist for the next 24 hours.
According to MET officials, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. They anticipate mainly hot and dry weather across most regions, with particularly high temperatures in central and southern areas. Dust-raising and gusty winds are expected during the evening and night hours.
There is a possibility of rain, wind, and thunderstorms at isolated places in north Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas during the evening and night.
The highest temperature recorded on Wednesday was 48°C in Shaheed Benazirabad and Dadu, while Lahore experienced a maximum temperature of 41.5°C and a minimum of 24.9°C.
