On Monday, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Syed Asim Munir, hosted an Iftar Dinner for the Pakistan Cricket Team at Army House Rawalpindi.
According to a news release from the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan Cricket Team underwent and completed physical training at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT) camp in Kakul, Abbottabad.
Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, along with PCB officials, also attended the Iftar.
During the event, the COAS conversed with the players and wished them success in their future endeavors.
The cricketers expressed gratitude to the COAS for the exceptional training they received at Kakul and acknowledged the role of the Army in supporting sports in Pakistan.
