PCB Dismisses FICA’s Claims Of Unpaid Dues In PSL
Osman Wahla, PCB Director International, says all payments in the nine editions of the PSL had been made promptly.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has strongly rejected allegations of non-payment of dues related to the Pakistan Super League (PSL), refuting claims made by the international cricketing body, FICA.
FICA had expressed concerns regarding irregularities in payments within various cricket leagues, including the PSL and the Indian Premier League (IPL), over the past 24 months.
Nevertheless, in response to FICA’s report, the PCB collaborated with the players’ association and conducted an internal review. The investigation concluded that there were no instances of delayed payments within the PSL over the last two years.
Osman Wahla, PCB’s Director International, stated that FICA’s report contained inaccuracies concerning the PSL. He noted that FICA had expressed doubts about its findings. Wahla reassured that all payments throughout the nine editions of the PSL had been disbursed promptly.
