Pakistan China Friendship Strengthening With Each Passing Day: Governor

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday emphasized the enduring and strong friendship between Pakistan and China, noting that China has consistently provided assistance to Pakistan in various situations.

During a ceremony at China Window, Governor KP highlighted that the bond between the two countries is time-tested and growing stronger with each passing day. He acknowledged China’s support in executing significant projects in Pakistan, including the transformative China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He noted that Chinese experts are involved in every major developmental project in the country.

Governor Kundi addressed criticisms directed at China, stating that despite some vested interests, Pakistan aims to further strengthen its relationship with China due to its emerging economic position on the international stage.

He mentioned plans to discuss offering scholarships and providing technological expertise to Pakistani students, helping them understand China’s advancements in technology.

Additionally, Governor Kundi expressed sorrow over the tragic death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and other officials.

He assured his willingness to cooperate with the central government to resolve issues faced by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, emphasizing that problems cannot be solved by public criticism and statements. He praised the excellent relations between the Chief Minister House and Governor House, and expressed concern over the law and order situation in the province, highlighting instances of kidnappings even from the Chief Minister’s constituency. He also pointed out the difficulties faced by KP’s farmers and the need to purchase wheat from Punjab.
