KP Govt Makes Botch Attempt To Maintain Credibility By Attributing False Statement To PM: Minister For Information, Broadcasting, National Heritage And Culture Attaullah Tarar
Minister for Information, Broadcasting, National Heritage and Culture Attaullah Tarar on Friday said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government was making a botch attempt to maintain its credibility by attributing a false statement to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif
Minister for Information, Broadcasting, National Heritage and Culture, Attaullah Tarar, stated on Friday that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Government was attempting to salvage its credibility by attributing a false statement to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
In his statement, the minister mentioned that the KP Food Minister had made a false claim about the prime minister, which was based on assumptions and contradicted the facts.
He accused the KP government of trying to provoke conflict with the Federal Government by consistently spreading false information, particularly regarding electricity, wheat, and other crops.
Tarar expressed regret over the KP Chief Minister’s persistent threats to “attack Islamabad and seize the Peshawar Electricity Supply Company.” He noted that the Chief Minister had even issued a 15-day ultimatum to the Federal Government.
The minister asserted that these “nefarious designs” would not succeed, as the Federal Government is fully capable of protecting state institutions and public property. He emphasized that no one would be allowed to take the law into their own hands, and strict action would be taken against anyone attempting to do so.
He assured that the Federal Government would continue to safeguard the rights of the KP people and ensure the provision of resources for their welfare according to the Constitution, regardless of political differences.
