Co-Working Center Launched In Okara Under PITB’s E-Earn Program
The e-Earn Centers, with the support of private partners, are presently operational in Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Multan, Faisalabad, DG Khan, Sialkot, Gujrat, Rawalpindi and Sahiwal.
The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has soft-launched its latest e-Earn Co-working Space in Okara, marking it as the 10th center in Punjab. This collaborative effort with Career Institute, Okara aims to support freelancers, startups, and entrepreneurs in the region.
The e-Earn Centers are currently operational in Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Multan, Faisalabad, DG Khan, Sialkot, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, and Sahiwal. These centers, established in partnership with private entities, offer working spaces to entrepreneurs, freelancers, workers, and small businesses. Beneficiaries of this initiative receive access to working spaces, free internet, electricity, and training halls, among other amenities.
PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stressed that e-Earn is Punjab’s largest co-working network, aiming to create a conducive environment for skilled youth. Additionally, it seeks to provide equal opportunities for women and disabled individuals, fostering collaboration to bolster the country’s economic growth.
