Six killed as two groups trade fire at Lakki Marwat wedding function
According to Dunya News, tragedy struck at a wedding ceremony in the village of Akri Khanzada Khail on Tuesday night when two rival groups exchanged gunfire, resulting in the deaths of six individuals and leaving one person injured.
The deceased victims were identified as Ehsan, Azir, Ahmed, Imran, Zahid, and Faizan, all hailing from Ghazni Khail. Upon receiving the information, the police promptly arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation, while also transporting the deceased and the injured to the hospital for post-mortem examinations.
Preliminary findings suggest that the shooting incident stemmed from longstanding rivalry between the two groups. The police swiftly cordoned off the area and launched a manhunt to apprehend those responsible for the tragic killings.
