Dera Police Arrested 10 Drug Peddlers
Dera police during the operations arrested 10 drug peddlers and recovered 2700 grams of hashish, 683 grams of ice recovered in the limits of various police stations in the district on Friday
On Friday, the Dera police conducted operations resulting in the arrest of 10 drug peddlers and the recovery of a significant amount of narcotics across various police stations in the district.
According to a police spokesperson, under the directives of District Police Officer Dera Nasir Mehmood, the crackdown against drug peddlers was intensified.
During one operation led by SHO Dera Town Khalid Javed Lashari, a police team apprehended Dawar Khan, son of Hidayatullah, from Takwara, seizing 510 grams of hashish from his possession. Additionally, Zehar Khan, son of Gul Zaman from Zafarabad, was arrested with 210 grams of ice.
Another operation led by SHO Police Station Gomal University, Malik Imran, resulted in the recovery of a single 12-bore gun with ammunition from Imam Bakhsh, son of Ghulam Akbar, resident of Haji Morah. Gulab Khan, son of Hukm Deen from Tank, was also arrested with 45 grams of hashish.
In separate operations across various police stations:
– SHO Paharpur Police Station Samar Abbas seized 750 grams of hashish and 250 grams of ice from Ismail Shah, son of Amir Shah, resident of Siddiqabad, and arrested Sher Ali, son of Haqnawaz, from Siddiqabad.
– SHO Daraban Abdul Ghaffar Khan recovered 505 grams of hashish and 143 grams of ice from Mohammad Nauman, son of Ajab Khan.
– SHO Parowa Police Station Sibatin Hussain seized 48 grams of hashish from Mohammad Ramzan, son of Ghulam Hussain, and 45 grams of hashish from Gul Zaman, son of Muhammad Aslam, resident of Babbar Pakka.
– SHO Police Station Kirri Khasor Faheem Abbas Khan recovered 310 grams of hashish from Muhammad Ashraf, son of Fateh Sher, resident of Bhakkar.
– SHO Police Station Darazinda Taib Deen Khan seized 530 grams of hashish and 60 grams of ice from Awal Mir, son of Mirza Khan, resident of Darazanda.
Separate cases have been registered against the arrested individuals, and further investigations are underway.
