Livestock Dept, PCS To Hold Poultry Expo From April 30

The Provincial Livestock Department, along with the Poultry Cooperative Society (PCS) KP and the Livestock Farmers Welfare Association (LFWA), has announced their collaboration to organize the Pak-International Poultry Expo 2024. The event is scheduled to take place from April 30 to May 1.
A meeting was convened on Wednesday to discuss the arrangements for the expo. Chaired by Additional Secretary Livestock Fisheries, Asghar Ali, the meeting was attended by Deputy Secretary Livestock, Yousaf Ali, Director General Livestock Extension, Dr. Wasil Khan, and Provincial President of the Poultry Cooperative Society, Raj Wali Khan.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that the primary objective of the expo is to create a platform for stakeholders and provide better orientation for poultry farmers. It was further explained that the event will feature 46 stalls aimed at guiding farmers and enhancing their knowledge to improve production practices.
Additionally, it was conveyed that relevant universities have been notified about the expo to encourage students studying various disciplines of poultry to attend. This will enable students to gain valuable insights and knowledge from the expo.
