“China Ready To Strengthen Counter-Terrorism Cooperation With Pakistan: Envoy”
Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Ambassador Jiang Zaidong says China stands ready to work hand-in-hand with Pakistan to defeat the evil attempt at disrupting our cooperation.
On Monday, China emphasized the need to adopt a comprehensive approach to national security while constructing the Pak-China community with a shared future.
In an article, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, stated that China is prepared to collaborate closely with Pakistan to thwart any malicious efforts aimed at disrupting their cooperation.
He further expressed China’s readiness to collaborate with Pakistan in safeguarding development through security measures and advancing security through developmental initiatives.
The Ambassador emphasized the importance of promoting international security as a cornerstone and advocated for the strengthening of China-Pakistan cooperation in counter-terrorism and security.
Quoting President Xi Jinping’s vision of the Global Security Initiative, he highlighted the necessity for all nations to collaborate in tackling diverse security challenges, aiming for mutual benefits.
The Ambassador reaffirmed China’s commitment to partnering with Pakistan in implementing the Global Security Initiative collaboratively, with the aim of establishing a peaceful and secure homeland.
Condemning the terrorist attack on Chinese workers in Pakistan on March 26th, the Ambassador urged for decisive actions to crack down on terrorists.
He expressed optimism that Pakistan would expedite the investigation into the incident, uncover the truth, and impose severe punishment on those responsible.
Furthermore, the Ambassador stressed the importance of economic security as the bedrock, advocating for the continued advancement of an enhanced version of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
To achieve this objective, he reiterated China’s readiness to bolster counter-terrorism and security cooperation with Pakistan, aiming to sustain high-pressure and stringent operations to decisively combat terrorism.
