Pakistan Point News (April 8th, 2024): Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced that it will be conducting examinations for various programs including Associate degree (B.A, B.Com), BBA, B.Ed, and BS programs offered in the autumn 2023 semester starting from April 23, 2023, across the country.
AIOU has made the date sheet available on its official website (www.aiou.edu.pk), and roll number slips have been uploaded to students’ CMS portals for easy access. Students are advised to check the website and their portals for further details regarding the examinations.
Vice Chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Prof Dr. Nasir Mahmood, has directed the examinations department to prioritize transparency and ensure that all necessary facilities are provided to the students during the upcoming examinations.
To facilitate students, examination centers are being established across the country in close proximity to their residences.
Special inspection teams will conduct surprise visits to the examination centers to monitor proceedings and ensure compliance with standards.
Additionally, the last date for admission in the second phase of Semester Spring 2024 is April 15th. Students are encouraged to complete their admissions before the deadline.
In this phase, Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) is offering various programs including Associate Degree (BA/B.Com), BBA, BS (ODL) programs, teachers training programs (1.5, 2.5, and 4 years B.Ed.), postgraduate diploma programs, and certificate courses.
Admission forms and prospectuses for these programs are accessible on the university’s website for online application.
For students residing in remote or backward areas without internet access, or those encountering challenges with online application procedures, manual applications for BA, B.Com, and B.Ed programs can be submitted at regional offices. This measure aims to ensure that all students have equal opportunities to apply for admission to their desired programs.
