Activities during this time span from a women\u2019s trainer workshop in Kuala Lumpur, cricket clinics and workshops in Nepal, community outreach programs in Singapore, to foundation coaching courses for school Physical Education teachers in Uzbekistan. Additionally, the UAE hosts a men\u2019s U19 inter-Emirates event.<\/p>\n<p>This week is particularly thrilling for women\u2019s cricket in the region. In Iran, a women\u2019s tournament kicks off in Tehran, while Qatar and Malaysia launch their Women\u2019s Super League. The league features five teams competing in 14 matches, all of which can be watched live on ICC.tv.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time ever, Kuwait will host Bahrain in the &#8220;Yalla Shabab&#8221; (Let&#8217;s Go Guys) series from April 25 to 27 at Sulaibiya Cricket Ground.<\/p>\n<p>This three-match T20 series, featuring 100% indigenous Arab players, aims to foster local support in preparation for the 2030 and 2034 Asian Games in Doha and Riyadh, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In Hong Kong, the hosts and China will hold their men\u2019s and women\u2019s Premier League Finals Day on May 5. Both games will be broadcast live locally, aiming to promote the sport and encourage fan support for both men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s cricket in the region.<\/p>\n<p>The ICC&#8217;s Criiio training and education program will be active in Bahrain, Mongolia, Qatar, and Tajikistan. Additionally, junior cricket and school events will be hosted in Cambodia, China, the Maldives, Myanmar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Thailand.<\/p>\n<p>This special week of cricket aligns with the United Nations&#8217; recognition of April 6 as the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative aims to bolster the cricketing spirit across the region, promoting sportsmanship and unity. In light of this, ICC Asia has encouraged its members to participate by organizing cricket-related events and meetings during this period.<\/p>\n<p>Aminul Islam, Regional Manager of ICC Asia, expressed his satisfaction, stating: &#8220;The enthusiastic response has been truly overwhelming, and we are thrilled with the buy-in from our members.
